Overview
Tucked away in a truly tranquil setting on top of the Kent Downs, The Plough specialises in exceptional food and boutique accommodation. This medieval inn is a special place where travellers, diners and drinkers alike can expect a genuinely warm welcome. A separate accommodation wing – newly built in Kentish barn style – guarantees peace and quiet. Six unique mezzanine suites enjoy individual entrances, giving guests direct access to a private garden and the Downs. There’s high standards of comfort, cleanliness and attention to detail, and also simple but genuine pleasures: comfortable rooms with a choice of pillows, Tassimo coffee machines, high pressure walk-in showers, double-ended baths – and cooked breakfasts delivered to your door. Rooms can be set up for couples or families and dogs are welcome. Enjoy personal service that goes the extra mile to make guests happy.
