Overview
Since opening in 2009, Yorkshire Wildlife Park has established itself as one of Yorkshire's top attractions. Take a walk around the park and encounter African Lions, Amur Tigers and Leopards plus the only Polar Bears in England! Visit ‘Into Africa' and spot Giraffes, Zebras, Black Rhino and more as they roam freely around their reserve Plus visit new for 201 Point Lobos home to 6 Californian Sea Lions and Atlantic Forest home to Tapir, Bush Dogs and Maned Wolves! The little ones will love the many indoor and outdoor play areas. The free to enter Yorkshire Hive also boasts a variety of boutique stores, the epic Uproar! Play Barn and not to be missed dining experience, Evolution.

Traditionally a steel and coal producing centre, the decline of both industries in South Yorkshire has been replaced to some extent by tourism based around the area’s beautiful Pennine countryside. The county claims part of the Peak District National Park, whose hills and dales provide welcome space for the large urban populations.
