The Ancient High House is one of the finest Tudor buildings in the country. Dominating the high street of Stafford, it is the largest remaining timber-framed town house in England and houses an engaging museum. Visit the room where King Charles I stayed, the Staffordshire Yeomanry Regiment Museum on the attic floor, and the changing programme of exhibitions.
