Overview
In the unspoilt setting of Scawton, the family-run Pignut and The Hare occupies a former village pub dating back to the 12th century. The small restaurant embodies the age and charm of the building, but the cooking and warm welcome are thoroughly modern. The well-balanced dishes, skilfully prepared with flair, are driven by local ingredients. Choose from either the short or longer tasting menus with their deliberately short titles so surprises await the guests.
