Glenhope Cottage
Overview
Glenhope was the location for 'Gracie's house' in the 1988 film 'When the Whales Came' (based on the book by Michael Morpurgo), and offers high quality, well-equipped and comfortable accommodation. Its old cottage charm has been retained in the beams and original stone fireplaces. Glenhope has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with views over Great Porth beach towards Samson Hill. Downstairs is a living-dining room, with comfy leather sofas and a cosy reading nook. The kitchen has an American style fridge-freezer, plenty of cupboard space and built in appliances. The bathroom (also downstairs) is fully tiled and has a shower over the bath.
