Overview
Eagle-eyed watchers of TV and film dramas will recognise the picturesque village of Old Amersham and particularly the 15th-century Kings Arms, which has made several on-screen appearances including Midsomer Murders. The half-timbered pub has lost none of its historical character so expect leaded windows, creaky floors and winding staircases. In the beamed restaurant, the dishes include roast gammon with fried egg, parsley sauce and chunky chips.
