"Upscale, award-winning town centre pub"
Overview
This is one of celebrity chef Tom Kerridge's three Marlow pubs, co-run with his wife, Beth Cullen-Kerridge. Inside you'll find glazed wall tiles, soft leather furnishings and an open kitchen, where head chef Tom de Keyser manages the concise, reasonably priced, modern menu with headings of ‘meat', 'no meat' and 'sweet’. From ‘meat’ perhaps choose beef biltong chilli, Monterey Jack and lime. From ‘no meat’ pick Cornish pollack Scotch egg with shellfish burger; or rotisserie beetroot, feta and horseradish. Finally, two ‘sweet’ options are banana custard, dates, honeycomb and pistachios; and orange and almond tart with olive oil ice cream. No table bookings as it’s first come, first served.
