Overview
A thatched 16th-century village pub opposite the pretty village green, The Crown Inn retains an abundance of original features including a large inglenook fireplace and oak-beamed ceilings. After a pint of the pub’s own Crown Inn Bitter in the open-plan lounge bar, head to one of two dining areas for locally sourced dishes like beef, ale and mushroom pie with buttered new potatoes, gravy and seasonal vegetables.
