Overview
The village of Bawburgh is a charmingly picturesque place, and The Kings Head, owned and run by Pamela and Anton Wimmer for 35 years, is a low, rambling 17th-century pub. Behind the roadside brick house you’ll find an eye-catching half-timbered cottage, complete with bulging walls, wooden floors and log fires. Leather sofas and a vaguely rustic mix of furnishings add to the charm and there’s an enticing menu of pub favourites and more innovative dishes including daily specials. The Norfolk seafood platter is always a feature, whilst other dishes showcase Norfolk produce spectacularly. Gluten free and vegan options are available.
