Overview
Off the beaten track in the Washburn Valley, inside the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this delightful Grade II-listed inn is also close to Harrogate. Low ceilings, lots of oak and log-burning stoves adds to the genteel character of the bar and award-winning food is served in the stylish restaurant. Try the roast venison loin; onion, spinach and wild mushroom tart or pan-roasted halibut fillet.
