Overview
Five miles north of Peebles and only 18 miles from Edinburgh, The Horseshoe Inn occupies a building that was originally the village blacksmith's shop. These days, it has a good reputation for its friendly atmosphere and great cooking. Scottish produce dominates the menu, whether it’s in a starter of cullen skink or a main course of Borders venison and Stornoway black pudding. There are also eight luxurious and comfortable bedrooms.
