Midsummer House Restaurant
"Immaculate contemporary British cooking in an impressive location."
Overview
Midsummer House continues to be one of the best restaurants in Britain after nearly 30 years at the top of the culinary tree. This elegant Victorian villa is situated in a picturesque countryside setting overlooking the River Cam with views across Midsummer Common (complete with grazing cows). Not only is the location gently idyllic, but you can also relax in the beautiful garden, which comes with outdoor heating, or on the rooftop terrace. The conservatory dining room is airy and spacious, the atmosphere welcoming and the seasonally evolving menus offer a choice of either a three-course lunch, a lunch tasting or a full tasting menu.
