Part of Lindeth Fell, an elegant and stylishly restored Edwardian country house set in gardens overlooking Lake Windermere, 1909 Restaurant certainly occupies a wonderful spot. Bright yellows and blues add a modern element to the dining room where country house classics are served alongside more contemporary and casual dishes.
