Dynamic new owners have opened a new chapter in The Milbury at Beauworth, a lovingly restored 400-year-old inn brimming with character from its original features, including a 300-foot well. In a rustic-chic setting with a centrepiece fireplace, bare bricks and venerable beams, the kitchen sends out a wide-ranging menu of full-flavoured dishes built on local, seasonal materials.

Our inspector loves...
  Location: - In a small village in Hampshire, just eight miles from the City of Winchester
  History: - The oldest part of the inn is 400 yo, with the well predating the inn by 800 years.
  Treadmill:  - The 250-year-old treadmill powers the bucket pulley system for 300ft well.
  Menu:  - The menu is designed to be shared by the whole table for a more convivial experience.
  Garden: - Well-maintained gardens, ideal for a variety of occasions or simply relaxing.
