Located beside the river in the village of Welwyn, this 17th-century coaching inn is owned and run by brothers James and Tom Bainbridge, it’s an inn that oozes charm, from the cosy bar to the flagstoned restaurant with its inglenook fireplace. The thoroughly modern brasserie-style menu has something for everyone.
