A top-to-toe restoration overseen by the eagle eyes of English Heritage means period authenticity runs seamlessly through this Italianate 19th-century mansion. The Wordsworth Restaurant is the fine-dining option: a posh setting indeed, and the kitchen team certainly rises to the occasion.
