Overview
In the heart of Knightsbridge and with uninterrupted views of Hyde Park, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal boasts a magnificent setting. A surprisingly understated, informal room with leather panelling, the restaurant features a central kitchen, viewed through floor-to-ceiling glass walls. You can see the historically accurate pulley system that rotates the spit over an open fire, a reminder, if you needed one, that this is where Blumenthal indulges his fascination with the history of British dining. Recipes from the 14th to 19th century are explored on the menu and given a modern spin, allowing you to time-travel in comfort.
