Overview
On a quiet corner at the end of a parade of shops, Elystan Street is an elegant, light-flooded space near Chelsea Green. Phil Howard's SW3 operation is a classy take on informal contemporary dining with teal blue leather banquettes, sky blue and caramel chairs and rustic wood tables. The cooking displays exquisite attention to detail in every element of a dish, from a classic chicken liver parfait, toasted brioche and damson chutney to the thinly sliced beef with field mushrooms, hasselback potatoes, red onion, truffle emulsion and red wine. Finish with treacle tart, Jersey cream and brown butter ice cream.
