Overview
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay remains as much a fixture on the foodie bucket list as it did when it opened its doors in 1998. As you’d expect of the flagship of Gordon Ramsay’s international empire, this Chelsea restaurant is a highly polished act, with remarkably consistent cooking, exemplary service and culinary traditions respected. The surprisingly compact dining room has a glamorous sparkle with a nod to art deco in its black and pastel hues. Chef de Cuisine Kim Ratchareon continues to deliver inspired dishes rooted in the French classics, so expect unimpeachable ingredients that work in harmony rather than needless experimentation for effect – as in a refined and skilfully executed dish of Cornish turbot with leek, yuzu and wasabi, followed by Earl Stonham Farm Beef with hasselback potato, black garlic, horseradish – a refined interpretation of a classic and much-loved combination.
