Overview
Comfortably billeted in the luxurious, Victorian-era Corinthia Hotel, Kerridge’s Bar & Grill is a rewarding place to visit for Tom Kerridge’s signature take on contemporary British brasserie cooking. With a high vaulted ceiling, burgundy leather banquettes and striking bronze statues competing for attention with the rotisserie grill station, the setting has grandeur in spades. A splendid pâté en croûte of smoked duck breast, liver and ham hock starts the show, then monkfish is pan roasted on the bone and matched with sea vegetables and green peppercorn sauce. For pudding, there’s Gariguette strawberry soufflé with elderflower ice cream and pressed strawberry.
