The Traddock
"Inventive modern cooking in tranquil location."
Overview
A handsome Georgian country house and garden set within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Traddock takes its name from the old ‘trading paddock’ on which the building now sits. The homely dining room is split across two rooms and there are impressive garden views. The intelligent and interesting modern British cooking looks to Asia for many of its influences although local ingredients are the cornerstone of the dishes. A starter of trout, red cabbage and English mustard might lead on to venison, pumpkin, Nashi pear and hen of the wood.
