The Wild Rabbit
"Exceptional cooking using produce from local farms."
Overview
A wisteria-draped Grade II listed Georgian building in the idyllic Cotswold village of Kingham, The Wild Rabbit is an integral part of the organic farming business on the Daylesford Estate. The open-plan restaurant and kitchen of this lovingly restored country inn puts local produce – most of which is sourced from their farm – and a nose-to-tail approach to butchery at the heart of the British menus. Start with slow-cooked hen’s egg, ham hock, pea, broad bean and mint, perhaps following on with pork loin and belly, apricot, hispi cabbage and pork jus. Finish with almond custard tart, Amaretto and peach.
