"Imaginative Indian cooking on Summer Row."
Overview
Close to University College Birmingham, Opheem is Aktar Islam’s signature restaurant and offers modern Indian cuisine with inspiration from all over the world as well as different regions of India. Grey polished walls and gold detailing enhance the food experience here, with tables formally dressed and professional waiting staff. Dishes boast exciting new Indian taste profiles via five- and 10-course tasting menus and a meal might include a Persian-influenced dish of Orkney scallop, mooli, apple, almond and balachaung before moving on with Cornish sea bass gourd and Indian gooseberry and North India-inspired guinea fowl, shami kebab, green tomato and spinach.
