"Precise modern cooking in central Birmingham."
Overview
In Birmingham’s fashionable Jewellery Quarter, Restaurant Folium is a striking glass-fronted venue with a stylish and minimalist modern interior. Bare brick walls, herringbone-style wooden floors and chocolate brown and pale grey banquettes provide a stylish setting for the food being created in the open kitchen. Expect contemporary cooking with well-defined flavours in innovative dishes which look as far as Asia and the Pacific Rim for inspiration. A meal might kick off with a classic chicken liver parfait, burnt onion and thyme gel before a main of salt marsh lamb teamed with grilled chicory, blackened apple ketchup and pickled radicchio.
