The South Lodges occupy what was once the estate’s gatehouse and offer the freedom of private accommodation with all the perks of a resort. South Lodge Apartment 2 has been beautifully restored throughout and features one double bedroom and an additional sofa bed in the lounge – ideal for couples or family getaways. There are four lodges available, two of which are located on the ground floor and two on the first floor. Please check before booking if you have any specific requirements as they are randomly allocated. All the South Lodges are accessible via steps with South Lodge 2 being located on the ground floor, though they are not classed as accessible properties. Properties can be booked for you to arrive on any day of the week and for any length of stay, as long as you stay a minimum of 3 nights. The property is located in a courtyard and parking is available in the Castle Village car park, a short walk from the property.
