Overview
A short distance from the picturesque village of Chipping, Cuthbert Hill Farm is a large, pet friendly, sandstone property set in the Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland National Landscape with stunning views throughout. With 6 bedrooms and a private enclosed garden, it’s an ideal base for large groups of friends or family who want to explore the area, including the ancient market town of Clitheroe with its 12th-century Norman castle. The property has a large dining/reception room, with a characterful inglenook fireplace and a huge oak extendable dining table to seat up to 12. The interior of the kitchen enjoys a blend of tradition and contemporary with the farmhouse-style counters. Two separate sets of stairs lead up to the first floor where the 6 bedrooms offer a flexible sleeping arrangement. Rooms are comprised of 1 super-king-size bedroom with en-suite shower, basin and WC, plus 5 super-king rooms (all beds are zip/link and can be made into twins on request). The property has a well-stocked games room with enormous memory foam bean bags, illuminated darts board, snooker table, football table, large tv and games cabinet stocked full of games. Guests can also relax in a spacious sitting room with a wood-burning stove and comfy seating arrangement. There is a private garden with a large sandstone patio area with lovely views, a hot tub, conveniently located with direct access indoors to a tiled floor area and wet room, and outdoor furnishings to soak up the sunshine. 2 small/medium well-behaved dogs are welcome, but pets are not allowed upstairs or on furniture and must be always kept on a lead when outside. Electric car charging will be available soon at this property, with local charging points available.
