"An historic property dating back to 1565"
Overview
The Irishman’s Tower is an idyllic rural retreat and the perfect base for exploring the richness and diversity of local Lancashire countryside, food and culture. The Tower occupies one of the former garrisons that interrupt the ramparts at the front of Hoghton Tower and thus commands spectacular views of our landmark driveway and the further Lancashire countryside.

About the area
Lancashire was at the centre of the British cotton industry in the 19th century, which lead to the urbanization of great tracts of the area. The cotton boom came and went, but the industrial profile remains
