Overview
Ploughman's Cottage is five minutes drive from the centre of Mansfield and close to Sherwood Forest. There is direct access on foot along the bridlepath to Vicar Water Country Park and its fishing lake, cafe and children's playground. Bridlepaths also lead to Sherwood Pines Forest Park. Edwinstowe Village and the Sherwood Forest visitor centre with their links to Robin Hood are only 10 minutes away, as are Rufford Abbey and Centre Parcs.

About the area
