The Shooting Lodge is an idyllic, quaint, traditional lodge, opened in 2006 and then extended and improved further in 2016. Sleeping 2-4, it’s a fabulous choice for couples or a small family. The property is situated on one level so is also very accessible. The pretty porch entrance leads to the living/dining area, and an open fire gives a cosy country feel. Contemporary furniture includes a table to sit four, a comfy leather armchair and a luxurious sofa (which converts to a comfortable double bed if extra sleeping space is required). The kitchen is country contemporary and very spacious, and a large bedroom with twin double beds and a brand new en-suite shower room is provided. A further washroom/w.c. completes the accommodation. There is an outside eating area, and a public footpath for walks that starts on the doorstep.
