Dupath Well
Overview
In the medieval period, holy wells were held in high regard, and this pretty stone-built well-house standing over an ancient stream is a good example. It was believed to cure whooping cough when sufferers were immersed in the pool, and was built by the Augustinian canons of St Germans Priory in around 1500. Entry is free.
