Overview
This charming cottage-like 17th-century conduit house, with vaulted stone-slab roof, once supplied water to Bolsover Castle. Major restoration was carried out in 2002-3, so the house is well placed to survive a few more centuries. Cundy is a Yorkshire word meaning 'conduit'.

Walkers and cyclists will enjoy the High Peak Trail which extends from the Derwent Valley to the limestone plateau near Buxton, and for many, the spectacular scenery is what draws them to the area.
