Overview
Situated in the restored church of St. Mary-At-Lambeth, adjacent to Lambeth Palace, the Garden Museum provides an insight into the history and development of gardens and gardening in the UK. It houses a fine public display of tools and artefacts. The Sachler Garden, designed by Dan Pearson, was inspired by the travels of the Tradescants, whose tomb is in the gardens. It contains unusual plants from around the world. Visit the new exhibition gallery to see temporary exhibitions of garden design, history and botanical art.
