Fairhaven Woodland & Water Garden

Recommended by Visit England Logo
Overview
Set in around 130 acres of ancient woodland, this gorgeous nature garden lies right next to the South Walsham Broad. If your family enjoys trips out on the water, birding from a boat or setting off to explore nature on foot, then this is the place to come. In spring there are masses of primroses and bluebells, with huge colourful displays of rhododendrons and pink azaleas dotted around the gardens. You can see candelabra primulas in May and some unusual plants growing near the waterways. Summer flowers include day lilies, ligularia, hostas, hydrangeas and flowering shrubs. In summer the wild flowers provide food for butterflies, bees and dragonflies. The garden has its own restaurant and plant sales, plus a whole host of special events throughout the year.
