Overview
Southeast of the town centre lies Ormesby Hall, a handsome Georgian mansion that was home to the Pennyman family for over 400 years. Hear more about the family, from 'wicked' Sir James to Colonel Jim, survivor of WWI, as well as the theatrical exploits of his wife, Ruth. There is a colourful, Victorian garden and walks throughout the parkland. There are also model railways, a family room, garden games and the pie kitchen.
