Overview
Situated in the heart of North Northumberland on the beautiful Ford & Etal Estates, this stunning building, a 'must see venue' won the Hudson's Heritage "Best Hidden Gem" award in 2015. Built as a school it now houses a unique collection of magnificent watercolour murals (1861-1883) and smaller original paintings/sketches by Louisa Waterford, one of the most gifted female artists of her time. Many family activities are offered, including dressing up and Victorian games for children or the child in you.
