Cotswold Woollen Weavers
Overview
This traditional 18th-century woollen mill is home to the Cotswold Woollen Weavers. Located in the idyllic village of Filkins, the mill houses a textile museum, design studio, shop and gallery. See traditionally-woven cloth, interior textiles and traditionally-made upholstered furniture, all hand-worked on site. Enjoy constantly changing collections inspired by the limestone landscape of the Cotswolds. There is also a cafe, an art gallery and an excellent shop. Adjoining buildings contain more workshops devoted to other traditional crafts. There is a stonemason workshop where you can see the traditional methods of handcarving stone.
