Built in the 1750s for Admiral Boscawen, hero of the battle of Louisburg, and set in a beautiful 430-acre park designed by Humphry Repton, offering a variety of park and woodlands walks, Hatchlands boasts the earliest known decorative works by Robert Adam. It is also home to the Cobbe collection, the world's largest group of keyboard instruments associated with famous composers. There is a beautiful bluebell wood in May.
