The Cliffs of Moher stand as a giant natural rampart against the aggressive might of the Atlantic Ocean. They rise in places to 700ft, and stretch for almost 5 miles. O'Brien's Tower was built in the early 19th century as a viewing point for tourists on the highest point. Visitors can view the cliffs and sea from a variety of platforms, all fully accessible.
