Overview
Cool Park was once the home of Lady Gregory, dramatist and co-founder of the Abbey Theatre with W.B. Yeats and Edward Martyn, and is now a nature reserve. The Seven Woods celebrated by Yeats is part of a nature trail taking in woods and river to Coole lake. The restored courtyard has a visitor centre with exhibits and historical displays.
