Crag Cave
"A fascinating and atmospheric underground network, carved by nature."
Overview
Crag Cave is one of the longest surveyed cave systems in Ireland, with a total length of 3.81km. It is a spectacular world, where pale forests of stalagmites and stalactites, thousands of years old, throw eerie shadows around vast echoing caverns complemented by dramatic lighting effects. About the area
Ireland’s most easterly county, Kerry, features a coastline of many inlets and peninsulas. It’s also home to the country’s highest mountains – the three peaks of the quaintly-named MacGillycuddy's Reeks range; highest first, they are Carrauntoohil, Beenkeragh and Caher.
