On show at the Hunt Museum is one of Ireland's finest private collections of art and antiquities. Reflecting Ireland's Celtic past as well as displaying artefacts from the ancient civilisations of Egypt, Greece and Rome. Set in an 18th-century Custom House beside the River Shannon.

About the area
