Tullynally Castle Gardens
Overview
Home to the Pakenham family, the castle dates back over 350 years, and the layout of the gardens from the early 19th century. The present owners continue to evolve the gardens. One path takes you to the walled flower garden, the llamas, and the Nandi (sacred Indian bulls), another to the grotto, and the Forest Walk through the Chinese Garden to the lower lake where swans will be found. There is a tree trail, a treasure trail for children and a tearoom in the castle’s courtyard.
