Ardgillan Castle
Overview
A large and elegant country manor house built in 1738, set in 194 acres of parkland, overlooking the sea and coast as far as the Mourne Mountains. There is a permanent exhibition of the 17th-century 'Down Survey' maps and various temporary exhibitions. Garden tours are available for groups of 10 or more and must be pre-booked. Guided tours of the house are conducted daily.
