Weaver's Cottage
Overview
Kilbarchan was once at the centre of the Scottish textile industry, and the craft of weaving is regularly demonstrated at this delightful 18th-century cottage museum, which recreates the living and working conditions of a typical handloom weaver. There is a collection of weaving equipment and other domestic utensils, as well as a collection of fabric samples, hand-woven in the village.
