A beautiful country estate with historic formal gardens which are renowned for their natural beauty, with extensive woodland walks, picnic, BBQ and play areas. There is a tea room in the old walled garden, a gift shop and The 'Dolly Mixture', an international collection of dolls, can be seen in the Visitor Centre.

About the area
The council area of Renfrewshire is one of three areas that make up the historic county of the same name, the other two being East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.
The county town is Renfrew, however it is Paisley which is the main settlement and its abbey, cathedral and museum draw many visitors to the town.
