Overview
In this 17th-century thatched house, Robert Burns and his friends formed a debating club in 1780. Burns attended dancing lessons and was initiated into Freemasonry here in 1781. The house is furnished in the style of the period, and the upstairs meeting room is still used by Burns Clubs and is also the setting for an annual Burns dinner.
