Overview
Inversnaid is on the east shore of Loch Lomond, where oak woodland rises steeply from the loch and gives way to open moorland with spectacular views. In the summer months you might see pied flycatchers here, as well as buzzards, while in the colder months look out for bullfinches and woodpeckers. Keep your eyes peeled for the mammals too, including red deer and pine martens. There are three trails, the West Highland Way, the woodland nature trail and the Garrison Track.
