Overview
For many, one of the iconic views of Pembrokeshire is the open expanse of St Bride’s Bay greeting you as you approach Newgale. In 2003, the National Trust was left the Southwood Estate as a legacy by Mrs Maurer. Southwood Farm, with its magnificent range of Victorian buildings, stands proudly in the landscape. The extensive network of traditional field boundaries provides a timeless feel to the landscape as well as a home for wildlife. Starting from Newgale beach, one of the longest in Wales, you can walk the coast path to Maidenhall Point and return inland through wildlife-rich farmland and the charming wooded valley below Southwood Farm.
Location
Ysgubor Fawr, Mathry, ROCH GATE, SA62 5HE
