Overview
Wales Outdoors is a team of outdoor professionals delivering guided walks and tours in Wales and beyond. The tours are delivered by qualified tourist guides, exploring historic landmarks and stunning scenery across South, West, and North Wales. The company was founded by Andy Lamb, who is both a Mountain Leader and a Green Badge Tourist Guide, has been a Brecon Beacons National Park part time warden, chair of Brecon Beacons Tourism, a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Co-ordinator and is a keen part time historian. Kate delivers some tours and is currently undergoing training as a Green Badge Tourist Guide for South West Wales. Graham is the foraging specialist, and Chris is a mountain leader who lives in Mid Wales. There is a network of other sessional leaders that can be called in during busy periods or for large groups.

About the area
Stretching 14 miles on the coastline of south Wales, Glamorgan Heritage Coast was one of Britain’s first designated heritage coastlines. The project, launched in 1973, covers a 14-mile stretch of coastline incorporating Porthcawl (in neighbouring Bridgend), Dunraven Park, Monknash Coast, St Donats, Summerhouse Point and the cheerful beach holiday resort of Barry Island.
