Overview
Explore one of Europe’s finest examples of a medieval castle in a stunning location above the picturesque fishing village of Gorey. The 13th century fortress was built to resist invasion by marauding French armies and has witnessed many of the key events in Jersey’s colourful history. Imaginative exhibits, treasures and artwork provide a different perspective on witchcraft, torture and medieval medicine, while our local guides and reenactors bring alive the story of the castle.
